The school was officially opened on the 6th of September 1999 at D78 Gado Nasko Road (Old site) with five classes., forty six pupils and few staff including the proprietress herself as the first administrator and her husband as the first driver.
Their car was converted to a school bus before the bought a Nigerian used bus to compliment the car. The school was registered with Cooperate Affairs Commission in February 2000.
2006

Before the end of 1999/2000 academic session, the number of pupils have also increased that we have to rent some shops that were opposite the school and converted the shops to classrooms before we eventually got our present new site.
On the 16th of September 2006, the school started the junior secondary section with 13 students. The commitment and dedication of the staff and management led to brilliant performance of the students and increase the population. The need for senior secondary section became paramount and we started operation in September 2009.
To this end, Ade-Ola International School has grown to become a household name. She has grown from home lesson to senior secondary school and a recognized centre for WAEC, NECO and NABTEB examinations with outstanding performances.
